State Street Storage & Remote Operations During Restricted Tier Status
State Street Storage is a local, family-owned company and we take our responsibility to our tenants and our community seriously. Like you, we’ve been closely monitoring the quickly evolving public health emergency of COVID-19. In light of Gov. Newsom’s Executive Order to all Californians to Shelter-in-Place given on 3/19/2020 we’ve needed to make adjustments to our daily facility operations in order to limit person-to-person interactions.
Remote Office Hours
- Monday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

- Wednesday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Sunday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
For Current Tenants
Because our facility may be used by those working in essential sectors, tenants will have continued access to their units during normal facility access hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. However, if you or a family member is ill, please do not come to the facility. We ask that all tenants practice social distancing. Avoid physical contact and maintain a distance of at least six-feet. We require tenants coming to the facility to comply with the county order and wear a facial mask. Additionally, we encourage them to wear protective gloves.
The office will be CLOSED to walk-ins but is available for appointments, but the office will be limited to one visitor at a time and will be disinfected between appointments. The office remote hours have been adjusted to those listed above.
We encourage as many of you as possible to make your payments over the phone or through our website. Those who pay only in cash or insist on paying in person by check are encouraged to use the night drop at the office door or the call box.
Any staff seen on-site are there for maintenance or security reasons only. Again, practice social distancing with our staff and other tenants.
This is an evolving situation, if we need to further adjust our operations we will notify our tenants as soon as possible and post about it here on our website. We look forward to seeing you on the property and again thank all of you for choosing to store your belongings with us.

The terms of your rental agreement will remain in place. However, to help during this time, we are waiving late fees & lien fees.
Auctions
We know this is a stressful time for many of our tenants, to that end we have decided to suspend all auction procedures and will not be holding any auctions during the Shelter-in-Place order.
New Rentals & Move-Ins During Remote Operations
Remote Rentals Option for New Tenants
During this time, we are still renting units, but we are attempting to handle as many of them remotely as possible through email and over the phone.
Please call us at 805-681-3113 to arrange a remote rental. We are currently not accepting walk-ins to the office and are not giving tours of the facility, however, if necessary you can call to make an appointment to visit the office and rent a unit in person.
Free Truck and Driver with Move-In Temporarily Suspended
For the safety of our staff and our tenants, we, unfortunately, will not be offering the use of our truck and driver with new move-ins.
